Dance Instructor, Choreographer, and Performer Casandra Hillman

A dance coordinator in California, Casandra Hillman has decades of experience as an educator, performer, and choreographer who excels in several dance idioms, including modern/contemporary, musical theater, and hip hop. Casandra Hillman has served as a dance instructor at several institutions throughout the state, such as Motion Pacific Dance Studio in Santa Cruz, the San Mateo Community College District’s Canada College, Patty’s Studio of Dance and Ballet Arts in Vacaville, and many more.

Casandra Hillman also has extensive experience as a choreographer, including work with Golden State Theatre Productions, during which time she re-staged Agnes de Mille’s original choreography for multiple full-length Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals, and the Marin School of the Arts. As the program director at Diaz Dance in Alameda, she coordinated spring performances, organized student trips to professional performances, and engaged in recruiting efforts.

Casandra Hillman’s academic background includes a graduate degree in dance from Mills College, with a focus on choreography and performance. She also holds a dance degree from California State University, San Francisco, and a social sciences and dance degree from Butte College.
